DESIGN WEEK PORTLAND  |  WIEDEN + KENNEDY

For Design Week Portland 2017, Wieden + Kennedy Studio came together to create individual posters that visualized the effect design can have on the environment, politics and social issues.

I love being a designer and the creative process, but I still have to ask myself, now what? How are communities, families, spaces and environments effected by my work as a graphic designer? In some cases I am inspiring people to live deeper and fuller lives, and in other cases I might just be trying to sell shoes. 

I'm not sure where this leaves me. The spiraling thoughts and worries about the current state of the world are hard to swallow, but certainly we're not the first to see a long list of concerns and we won't be the last. So now what?
