For Design Week Portland, the Wieden + Kennedy Studio team created individual posters exploring how design influences the environment, politics, and social issues.

I love being a designer and I love the creative process, but I also find myself asking, now what? How do my decisions as a designer shape communities, families, public spaces, and the world around me? Sometimes my work inspires people to live more intentionally, and other times… I might just be selling shoes.

I don’t always know where that leaves me. The constant worry about the state of the world can feel overwhelming, but it’s also not new, generations before us have wrestled with the same questions, and generations after us will too. So I keep returning to the same thought: now what?
